Adam Baimel (PhD in Social Psychology, University of British Columbia) studies how we conceive of and engage with the ’supernatural’ across cultures. His work asks questions about the causes and consequences of cultural change in the religious and spiritual landscape. What drives adherents of longstanding religious traditions to adopt new moral concerns? What drives the emergences of new spiritual traditions? Dr. Baimel’s work seeks to reveal the forces that shapes these evolving belief landscapes.
Join our innovative exploration at the nexus of psychology and theology. Our project aims to enrich theological research with the latest psychological insights, offering a unique opportunity for scholars to deepen their understanding of human nature and ethics.
