Patty Van Cappellen

Summary:

The mental well-being of BIPOC parents, particularly those of children aged 0-12, is crucial for healthy family dynamics. This study aims to evaluate a digitally based self-compassion intervention that addresses general anxiety and parenting guilt, enhances self-efficacy, and promotes overall well-being among BIPOC parents. By integrating culturally relevant elements, we will provide essential tools to promote parenting practices of self-compassion, ultimately improving family well-being in marginalized communities.
