5 Cross-Training Fellows present papers at the ECST in Split, Croatia!

On August 29-31, five Fellows from the Cross-Training Program presented their psychology-engaged research papers at the 20^thEuropean Conference on Science and Theology (ECST) in Split, Croatia. The theme of this year’s conference was “Sciences, Theologies, Fictions: the construction of narrative in science and religion.”

**Dr. Ela Łazarewicz-Wyrzykowska** introducing her paper on "The soul and the essence of religion: A theological critique of existing prayer scales."

**Dr. Hannah Waite** addressing a question from the audience after her paper presentation on "Bridging the gap: The role of spiritual narratives in mental health care practice."

**Dr. Pavlína Kašparová** explaining the methodology of her project. Dr. Kašparová's paper was titled, "Look! This is my faith: The narrative of healing in the 'Artists Project'".

**Dr. Tobias Tanton** sharing preliminary results of the latent class analsis he performed in his project. Dr. Tanton's paper was titled, "God-nature overlap and environmental care: The psychological evidence."

**Dr. Hannah James** presenting a paper on "The sanctity of nature: Poetry, religious trauma, and the reclaiming of creation for post-religious healing." Dr. James plans to explore the topic of religious trauma in her fellowship project.
