Building Bridges Between Theology and Psychology

The fields of psychology and theology have multiple points of shared interest. Both psychologists and theologians take a strong interest in themes such as human personality, character and virtue, morality and ethics, and how we relate to one another as social creatures.

Our project seeks to empower theologians to conduct research informed by the latest developments in psychology. Led by Dr Carissa Sharp at the University of Birmingham, we're creating an intensive training program for 32 theology fellows. Through mentorship, peer collaboration, and hands-on research opportunities, participants will explore the intersection of theology and psychology, gaining valuable insights to inform their own scholarship.
