Dr. Hannah Waite has received the very prestigeous British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellowship Award to explore "A both-and approach to biological disorder and religious experience." You can read more about her project in our "Grant Abstracts" page and also here. Dr. Waite will be starting the 3-year fellowship this Fall at the University of Leeds.
Dr. Waite has stated, "I truly believe that I would not have been able to secure this funding grant without previously obtaining the Cross-Training research grant and the invaluable sessions we completed on grant applications through this programme. Additionally, I believe that using this small research grant as a spring board for conducting research on religious experience also gave me an edge to secure this award as it has demonstrated my ability to work as a PI of a project and manage a research budget."
